Programs at the Community Service Center

The Community Service Center is responsible for some major service projects on campus which include Beat Auburn Beat Hunger, Give-N-Go, Hunger and Homelessness Week, National Volunteer Week, and Ripple Effect. In addition to these major events, we also host several domestic and international service trips under the program of Alternative Break which is composed of Alternative Winter Break, Alternative Spring Break, and Alternative Fall Break.

To award the large number of participants and organizations on their contribution to our community, we also host the Profile in Service banquet which honors the top community service contributors of the school year.

While these are our major events, the Community Service Center is also responsible for several smaller community service projects through our Advocate Staff and our agency partners. Due to the consistent flow and never-ending need for community service, our office cannot post information on these community service projects in a years notification. However, checking the daily updated calendar on the home page will inform you of all upcoming service projects, including major and minor, during the current month.

We look forward to working with you in bettering our community.
