Hands On Tuscaloosa
Hands on Tuscaloosa is a service day where UA students go into the community to make a difference.
It's an effort for students to initiate long-term service relationships with
community partners and areas of the community.
Hands On Tuscaloosa Spring 2012 will be on Friday, April 13
from 1:00-4:00 pm. Registration begins at 12:30 pm.

Service locations will include Habitat for Humanity, Holt Community Partnership, Caring Days Adult Daycare, Forest Manor Nursing, & the Tuscaloosa Volunteer Reception Center. Transportation will be provided. Participates will enjoy ice cream sundaes at the Outdoor Rec Pool at the conclusion of the service project.
For Hands On Tuscaloosa, Phases 1-3 in the Fall 2011 semester, more than 600 UA students familiarized themselves with the needs of the City of Tuscaloosa & the surrounding area. Some partners included Tornado Relief, Habitat for Humanity, Project Blessings,
and the City of Tuscaloosa.
