The Community Service Center has developed several programs to serve a specific local service niche. For example, through our relationship with The University of Alabama’s Financial Aid office, the CSC places work-study-eligible students with community agencies like yours. The federal work-study program provides undergraduate and graduate students with part-time employment to meet their financial needs and gives them work experience while serving their campus and surrounding communities. Most work-study jobs are campus bound but this program allows students to venture off campus to perform their work-study hours serving the community and assisting you in implementing your programs.
