Length of Service:  2 years (adopting a mile is a 2 year commitment)

Citizens all across Alabama are showing their pride in our state by sharing their time and energy in cleaning up our state’s highways and roadsides. Through this program, any organization, family, corporation, or church group can play a major role in the beautification of our state by pledging to “adopt” a mile of highway for a 2 year program. Anyone wishing to volunteer may request an application.
